Here's a video explaining how the gametype plays in Unreal Tournament 3:

Right now I'm thinking it will require only 2 new special effects but no new materials or models...
I'm coming back home tonight (currently in Germany) so hopefully I will have some time during the weekend to sit down and code it, it shouldn't take more than a day or two...

Re: Greed Gametype
Interesting, something i would like to try, i would suggest leaning heavily towards the team aspect though!
Coding is pretty much done for "Team Greed", I will write "Greed" (the non-team version) tomorrow.
When a player is killed he will drop the dog tags currently being carried plus his. This means that every player will drop at least one dog tag when killed. Bodies will show an effect with different color based on the dog tags being used (1 White, 2+ Yellow, 5+ Orange, 10+ Red). Bodies that contain 10+ dog tags will also be marked in the minimap and world.
Regarding the scores, right now player are not receiving any score by just killing enemies. They get 1 score point for killing an enemy within 15 meters of the enemy drop zone, 1 point for picking up any number of dog tags, and a lot of score for actually taking the dog tags to the drop zone (at which point the team score is increased).
I'm not so convinced about the scoring system yet so let me know if you have a better idea on how the scoring should work.
Regarding game resources, only 4 special effects were added to the mod. The effect is based on the special effect the game uses for Old School. I'm not an expert on creating effects so if anyone wants to work on a nicer effect I will have no problem including those instead and add your name to the credits.txt files of OW.
