 Greed Gametype 

Any interest in implementing this gametype in COD?

Just checked out this game type and it would be very good if it was not for the terrible spawn system.

Once we would capture some dog tags the enemy would start spawning near are base... and we would spawn near there base. Instead of in the middle area of the map. Made the whole game play poorly. I think you need a map with special spawns or built for this game to to really appreciate it.

Every said it would be a lot of fun if the spawns were not so messed up.

You can always set the variable to spawn always on your side... But anyway, if you spawn on their base then you still need to move into the enemies to get their dog tags... Or defend your base...

I would think spawning should be like ctf. But there are multiple flags that could be dropped, so to speak.

"Greed" uses DM spawn points and for the drop zones it uses the locations of the HQ radios rotating through them during the game.

"Team Greed" on the other hand uses the Sabotage spawn points when the round starts and it uses TDM spawn points during the game spawning the players close to their teams. However, you can set the variable scr_tgr_forcestartspawns to "1" and then the Sabotage spawn points will be used during the entire game.

Let me know if by setting that variable to "1" the gameplay is much better and I will make it the default value. ;-)

Just post as much feedback as possible so I can tweak the gametypes before final release.

For some reason I can't get the timelimit to change on the greed gametype. Haven't tried team greed yet so not sure about it. No matter what I change the timelimit to the round lasts 30 minutes. Is anyone else having this problem?

Make sure your openwarfare.cfg is executing the new greed.cfg and teamgreed.cfg if you updated an existing server.

Thank you sir, worked like a charm. I also was about to mention that the gametype in the end of game map/gametype vote says time greed instead of team greed.
