I tried with sab and dm... in dm, the cars where stuck in walls or at least at other positions... but still no stuff like spawnpoints etc. Does the Visual Guide show which gametype is selected atm?
oh btw, I'm using CoD4:MW, if that is important...

just noticed the visualguide.cfg wasn't executed because I had an old openwarfare.cfg but correcting that didn't help...
In the language files there's a string "ruleset deactivated". So there once was an option to deactivate rulesets. But it's gone now - why?

It's not gone... You set cod_mode to "" and the ruleset will be deactivated returning every variable to default...

yep, to default, but not to the config values. Hm I will execute server.cfg as a fix... and there's no option in the AACP to set cod_mode to "". (btw, sorry, this is off this thread's main topic)

I was so busy these last two weeks that I had absolutely zero time to look into this problem. There was a few things I was hoping to add to the visual guide, but it was just more information more than anything for the player.

well dummy me... I updated the server to the latest version release of 1.6.5 and the mover does not work or I am doing something wrong.
I had one map that the things seemed to move but it played all weird. Now that this is a gametype do I have to set it in my mapcontrol.cfg ??
Like set gametype vg map mp_factory
We are playing SD and its all messed up now.

Which version were you using before? Perhaps old settings do not conform with the new ones?
**You do not have to set the gametype to vg in order to play maps with the mover. The visual guide is a gametype now to handle all the guide functions in a more efficient manner. You should still be able to use set gametype sd map mp_factory.**

I just updated from version 1.6.4 to 1.6.5.
I think it is only one map, I was able to get it working on other maps, so it must be a map issue now with the new mod update and this map. Something happens with the graphics and a lot of people on this map. Really strange things happen.
I moved the spawns on the map mp_factory and people seem to warp all over the map now. It played fine in 1.6.4, but not with the new one.
Do not think it is the mod or mover, but would love it if you could confirm that for me.
